Armenia is a mountainous country on the border where Western Asia meets Eastern Europe, giving this country an interesting cultural heritage. Formerly part of the Soviet Union, Armenia’s almost unknown capital city is Yerevan and its currency is the dram, which is not in liquid form! Winters are cold and snowy and summers are hot and sunny.
As well as being dependant upon agriculture, Armenia produces copper, zinc, gold and lead. Although it has an interesting history and culture, few people visit Armenia, but you can familiarize yourself with the sights on our Armenia webcams.
