Ever wondered what it would be like to be a lobster? Ever wondered how a lobster feels when it gets caught in a lobster trap?
Well, wonder no more, for two weeks ago a new webcam went live, giving an up close and personal view of a lobster trap. The exact location isn’t known, but it is somewhere in Halifax habour in Nova Scotia.
Don't worry my lobster friend! You will be released!
The webcam was set up by Ralf Pickart . We’ve featured other webcams from his website before. Apparently he had an inkling that it would be popular, but he didn’t expect it to get the 14,000 hits that it did on its first day, making it his most popular webcam.
Those worried that the lobsters will end up on someone’s plate don’t need to. Pikart’s educational license doesn’t allow him to catch the lobster to eat, and so he releases them regularly.
