Hopefully the sunshine will bring a torrent of tourists to the beach!

Exmouth is a popular tourist seaside resort, and businesses there will be happy to finally see some sunny weather. The town is a centre for many sea-based leisure activities, like wind surfing, sailing, and jet skiing.

Exmouth is also home to the Exe Estuary, which has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. In the UK, this means the area is protected by law. The Exe Estuary gained this status due to its importance for wading birds, who use the area to feed.
