Olympic Webcams Show Athletics and Swimming

August 8th, 2012 by Mark

If you’ve been enjoying the 2012 Olympics, then you can now see the action from a different angle thanks to a couple of webcams

Two Twitter accounts have been set up for the London 2012 Stadium Cam and the Pool Underwater Cam. They tweet snap shots of competing athletes that you’re unlikely to see elsewhere!

Synchronised swimmers in action!

The Stadium Cam gives a view of the 100m track in the Olympic Stadium. The latest pictures posted there include Usain Bolt cruising home in his 200m heat, and Kirani James winning the 400m final.

The Pool Underwater Cam is (as its name suggests) located at the bottom of the Olympic pool, under lane 4. Recent pictures have included a view of synchronised swimmers that you’re unlikely to see on television!

You can check out the Stadium Cam here and the Pool Underwater Cam here.
