A new weather webcam has been installed at the J Hase Mowrey Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility by the Borough of Chamsbersburg in Pennsylvania. A weather station has also been installed along with the webcam, as the weather affects the running of the wastewater treatment facility.
The treatment facility serves both the borough of Chamsberburg and other surrounding townships.
The webcam has been installed to monitor the largest public works project in Chamsberburg history, it being worth a whopping $35.2 million. The webcam allows both the public and project partners to stay up to date on the project’s progress.
The combined cost of installing the webcam and weather station amounted to $14,495. That’s one expensive webcam!
You can check out the webcam here.
