Guam is a US territory located in the western Pacific Ocean and is the largest of the Mariana Islands. As an American held island it was captured by the Japanese in 1941 and liberated three years later on July 21st which is now celebrated as Liberation Day. Guam’s number one industry is tourism and its other significant source of income is the US Military.
