Nova Scotia Webcams
Nova Scotia is on Canada’s southeastern coast. Halifax, the capital, is a major economic centre for the region which is based in fishing, mining, forestry and agriculture along with tourism. Named after Scotland, many of its one million inhabitants are of Scottish descent. The Citadel is the highest part of downtown Halifax.
Built by the English in the 1700’s this historic stronghold looks down over the harbour. The noon hour cannon is still fired from the Citadel every day. Glace Bay, once called the largest town in Canada, was known for its coal mines.
See all these sights and more from our excellent Nova Scotia Webcams, including one of pretty Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse.
