New Zealand is comprised of two large islands in the Pacific Ocean, 2000km (1250 miles) southeast of Australia. North Island offers volcanoes, waterfalls, geysers and sheep stations. The cooler South Island is the wine-producing area and in the extreme south there are granite cliffs, towering snow-covered peaks of ‘Lord of the Rings’ fame, ice flows and glaciers. The webcams capture some truly awesome scenery as well as towns, harbours and city architecture.
