Indonesia comprises 17,508 and we have to confess not all are represented on our Indonesia webcams. Nonetheless the beautiful sights of Bali certainly make you wish you were there. Indonesia has around 230 million population and has the world’s largest Muslim population.
The capital is Jakarta and although Indonesia was a Dutch colony for three and a half centuries, it declared independence in 1945. Despite being densely populated in some areas, it has the second highest level of biodiversity in the world.
Indonesia straddles the Equator and has a monsoon climate with high rainfall in the more mountainous areas and steady temperatures of 26-30C (79-86F) Paradise indeed.
